White label web design for agencies

White label web design your clients will think your team built.

You sold the website. Now someone has to build it: fast, on brand, and without your client ever meeting a second company. We design and build Astro and Next.js sites under your agency’s name, with an NDA before the brief, staging on your domain, code in your repository and the launch report under your logo.

top-ranking white label web design pages publishes a price. Ours publishes the market.

RankMeHi review of the top 9 US results, 28 Sep 2026. Benchmark below.

The short answer

White label web design means a partner designs and builds the websites your agency sells, and your client only ever sees your agency. The market is opaque: of the nine top-ranking pages for the term, only one publishes a price and none shows a delivered site’s numbers. We publish both, and we put the handoff in writing.

White label web design, explained

You keep the client. We do the build.

In one paragraphWhite label web design is a delivery model: a partner designs and builds websites that your agency sells as its own. Your brand is on the proposal, the preview link, the launch and the report. The partner signs an NDA, never meets your client, and hands the code and accounts to you.

Here is the problem every growing agency hits. You sell SEO, ads or branding, and your clients ask for a website. Your developer is booked, the freelancer you used last time has gone quiet, and a template site would undo the work you are selling them.

It gets worse after launch. A slow site makes your ads more expensive and your SEO slower, and the client blames the agency, not the builder. In our study of 662 local business websites, the median homepage took eight seconds to show its main content on a phone.

So we built the service we would want to buy. The same three people who design, build and rank our own clients’ sites do the work, Andrew on design, Mohammad on engineering, Bita on content and SEO, on Astro and Next.js, and everything leaves our hands in your name.

Selling SEO under your brand as well? That is a separate service with the same rules: white label SEO for agencies.

Your pitch, your meeting

Your name on the work. Ours nowhere.

Your client should see one company from the first mockup to the monthly report: yours. That is not a promise we make with a smile; it is a list of places we keep our name out of, written into the agreement.

  • Proposal text, mockups and preview links in your brand
  • No footer credit, generator tag, code comment or CMS author
  • Repository, Figma and accounts in your name or your client’s
  • Non-solicitation: we never pitch your client, during or after

Our method

The Invisible Handoff.

Four moments your client sees, four pieces of work behind them, and three rules that keep the curtain closed.

DefinitionThe Invisible Handoff is RankMeHi’s rule for white-label builds: your client never meets us, never sees our name, and on launch day receives everything, the code, the logins, the licences and the report, in your agency’s name.

Front stage · what your client sees

  1. 01Your proposalScope, timeline and mockups on your letterhead, at your price.
  2. 02Your preview linkStaging on your subdomain, e.g. preview.youragency.com.
  3. 03Your launchThe site goes live on the client’s domain with no partner credit anywhere.
  4. 04Your reportLaunch scores and tracking summary under your logo.

Back stage · what we do

  1. Brief under NDAWe sign before you share the client’s name, and write the scope text for you.
  2. Figma, then codeAndrew designs phone frames first; Mohammad builds on Astro or Next.js.
  3. The Three-Judge TestSpeed, crawlability, schema and raw-HTML text checked on every page.
  4. The handoff packRepository, logins, licences and redirects, documented for you.
The Invisible Handoff: the four moments your client sees, and the work behind each one. Every document, link and login on the front stage carries your agency’s name.
  1. 01

We are never in the room

We talk to you, not your client. If you want us on a call, we join as part of your team and never pitch, quote or leave a card.

  2. 02

    Nothing carries our name

No footer credit, no generator tag, no code comments, no CMS author, no file names or image metadata that point back to us.

  3. 03

    You own the exit

Code in your repository, accounts in your or your client’s name. If we part ways, you already hold everything.

The white-label handoff checklist

22 checks before you let any partner near your client.

Use it with us or with anyone else. If a partner will not agree to every line in writing, that tells you what you need to know.

Before kickoff

Day 0
  1. 01Mutual NDA signed before you share the client’s nameConfidentiality starts before the first brief, not after the deposit.
  2. 02Non-solicitation clause: the partner never contacts or pitches your clientDuring the project and after it. This is the clause that protects your book.
  3. 03Scope text and timeline supplied for your proposalYou paste it onto your letterhead and set your own price.
  4. 04One channel: the partner talks to you, not to your clientIf they join a call, they join as your team.
  5. 05Owner of code, domain, hosting and licences agreed in writingYour agency or your client. Never the partner.

Design

Week 1–2
  1. 06Figma file in your workspace, or transferred to it at the endFuture changes should not depend on the partner’s account.
  2. 07Mockups exported with no partner name, watermark or file namingClients open PDFs and read file names.
  3. 08Revision rounds written into the brief before design startsChanges are cheap in Figma and expensive in code.
  4. 09Real copy and photos in the mockupsYour client approves the page they will get, not lorem ipsum.
  5. 10Phone frames reviewed firstThe call button and the form are judged where most local customers meet them.

Build and staging

Week 2–5
  1. 11Staging on your subdomain or a neutral URLNever on the partner’s domain, where one click shows who built it.
  2. 12Repository in your GitHub organisation, or your client’sThe partner is a collaborator you can remove.
  3. 13No partner credit in the footer, generator tag, code comments, CMS authors or image metadataThe places a curious client, or their next developer, actually looks.
  4. 14Forms deliver to your client’s inbox, from your client’s domainConfirmation emails are part of the brand too.
  5. 15Analytics, Search Console and tag manager created in your or your client’s accountsData that lives in a partner account is data you can lose.
  6. 16Launch checks recorded page by pageSpeed on a phone, crawlability, schema and text in the raw HTML, before the client sees it.

Launch and after

Launch week
  1. 17Logins, licences and DNS changes in one handoff documentUnder your logo, ready to forward.
  2. 18A 301 redirect for every old URL when replacing a siteMissing redirects are how rebuilds lose rankings.
  3. 19Launch report under your logoScores, pages and what is being tracked, in words your client can read.
  4. 20Support routed through you, with a written fix windowLaunch issues are the partner’s to fix, on your ticket, not your client’s.
  5. 21A white-labelled editing guide for your clientHow to change a service, a photo or a post without calling anyone.
  6. 22An exit clause: full access within an agreed number of days if you part waysThe test of a partner is how easy they are to leave.

How agencies buy

Three ways to resell, one standard of build.

Wholesale prices are not published, because they depend on volume and scope. The structure is: a fixed price per build, a monthly care fee per site, or pay-per-lead for local service clients.
  • Per-project build

For an agency that sells a website and wants it delivered finished, at a fixed wholesale price.

How it worksYou send the brief, we quote a fixed wholesale price, you sell it at yours. Nothing starts until you approve.

    • Design in Figma, or built from your designer’s files
    • Astro for company sites, Next.js when it needs app features
    • Staging on your domain, launch report under your logo
    • Code, design files and accounts handed to you

    Wholesale rate card on request

  • Monthly care plan

For the sites you have launched and want to keep fast, current and converting under your name.

How it worksA monthly wholesale fee per site. You bill your client your own care fee; requests come through you.

    • Hosting on Cloudflare (Astro) or Vercel (Next.js)
    • Fixes, content updates and new service pages
    • Speed and conversion checks
    • Monthly report under your logo

    Wholesale rate card on request

  • Pay-per-lead resale

For agencies with local service clients who balk at a large upfront build fee.

How it worksYou offer your client a low setup fee and billing per approved lead. We build the site and run the tracking ledger under your brand.

    • The same site, with call tracking and a logged quote form
    • A lead ledger your client can check, under your logo
    • You set your client’s per-lead price
    • One client per trade per city, to avoid competing with yourself

    Wholesale terms on request

For reference, our direct prices to business owners are public: new sites from $2,490 and ongoing growth from $690 a month, or the pay-per-lead partner route. Agency rates sit below them.

    Design in Figma

    Week 1 to 2

    Launch week, then monthly

The repository, logins, licences and editing guide go to you. Keep us on the care plan, or run the site yourself.

You getEverything in your name, and a partner on call through you.

Is it for you?

Who our white label web design is for.

A good fit if

  • You run a marketing, SEO, ads or branding agency and your clients keep asking for websites.
  • Your clients are service businesses whose sites should bring calls and quote requests.
  • You want a fixed wholesale price per build, not an hourly meter.
  • You want the code, the design files and the accounts in your name.

Probably not a fit if

  • Your clients must stay on Webflow, Wix or Squarespace.
  • You need unlimited small design tasks turned around in 24 hours.
  • You are building a SaaS product or a large custom web app.
  • You want the cheapest template site on the market; the $59 builds in our benchmark exist for that.
