Google page one, 4 Nov 2026

What Google shows for “santa ana seo company”, and who is missing.

Six of the nine results are agency pages, and half of those agencies rank in Irvine or Anaheim too, with a page of the same kind for each city. We could read two of the six; one publishes a price, from $5,000 a month. The other three results are lists. A buyer here mostly sees agencies that have a page for every city, so a named Santa Ana result is rare proof.

Price check, 4 Nov 2026

What Santa Ana SEO costs: we read the page-one agencies.

We took the 10 different agencies on page one for “irvine seo company”, “santa ana seo company” and “anaheim seo company” and read each ranking page, homepage and pricing page. 5 could be read. Of those, 3 published no price and no terms; two put a monthly budget question in the contact form instead, so the price starts from what you say you can spend. Our prices are in the last row, and the small business SEO page has a wider price check.

Santa Ana, through a search lens

The county seat, and the densest big city in Orange County.

Santa Ana is the county seat and, at about 310,000 people on 27 square miles, the densest large city in Orange County, with over 11,000 people per square mile. The County of Orange is the biggest employer, with more than 19,000 staff around the Civic Center. Downtown Santa Ana, MainPlace and South Coast Metro are the commercial centres, and Behr, First American and Ingram Micro are headquartered here.

For local SEO, density means more competitors close to every searcher and a crowded map pack, so the Business Profile does a lot of the work. About three quarters of residents are Hispanic or Latino, and many searches happen in Spanish, on a phone, within a minute of deciding.

Santa Ana is also where our proof is. ICC Collision, an auto body shop here, took about 10 quote requests a month from its first month on the site we built (JotForm, Dec 2023 to Aug 2026), and the site still brings about 9 a month after the shop closed in 2026.

Where the searches come from

Five parts of Santa Ana, and what each means for your SEO.

The facts are from public sources; the search advice is ours, from planning pages for Orange County businesses.
  1. 01

    Downtown and 4th Street

Restaurants and small shops in the old centre. Repair and service searches here want same-day help; a booking form that takes a photo of the fault speeds the quote.

  2. 02

    The Civic Center

County offices with more than 19,000 staff, plus the courts. Tax, notary, legal and document services get walk-ins who searched on a phone first, often in Spanish.

  3. 03

    MainPlace

One of the city’s commercial centres. Retail density means steady demand for signage, fit-out, cleaning and repair trades nearby, each a separate search.

  4. 04

    South Coast Metro

Shared with Costa Mesa, offices and homes together. Commercial and residential services need separate pages, because the searchers want different answers.

  5. 05

    Spanish-language searches

About three quarters of residents are Hispanic or Latino. For most consumer trades, real Spanish service pages (not a translation widget) reach searches an English-only site never sees.

Hiring checklist

Six questions to ask any Santa Ana SEO company.

The right partner explains the plan in plain language before the project starts: what will be reviewed, what will be fixed, how progress is measured and how the work connects to leads. Nobody controls Google’s results, so be wary of anyone whose pitch is a promised position.

  1. 01Who actually does the work? A good answer names who audits the site, who fixes it and who does the SEO. If the people who sell are not the people who do the work, ask how problems get passed along.
  2. 02Do you have a page for every city, or do you know Santa Ana? On 4 Nov 2026, 5 of the 10 agencies on Google’s page one for Irvine, Santa Ana and Anaheim ranked in two of the three cities with the same kind of city page. That is not wrong, but ask what they know about Santa Ana that is not on the page.
  3. 03Can you fix the website, or only recommend? A good answer covers both. In our Santa Ana test, 4 of 29 business sites were dead or broken, 5 of 22 live sites had no tap-to-call link and 5 had no quote form. Advice alone does not fix that.
  4. 04How fast is my site on a phone, measured? A good answer is a number. 16 of 22 Santa Ana sites we measured took more than 4 seconds to show their main content on a phone (median 7.5 s). Google asks for 2.5.
  5. 05What do you charge, and what are the contract terms? A good answer is direct. Of the 5 page-one agencies we could read, 3 published no price and no terms. If a provider will not give a range up front, comparing is hard.
  6. 06What do you report every month? A good answer starts with calls and form leads. Rankings matter, but a page that gets traffic and no enquiries should show up in the report as a problem, not a win.

If the site itself is slow or hard to call from, start with Santa Ana web design: SEO sends people to the site, and the site has to turn them into calls.
